When prerequisites are met You may start Your training. Training is - like all PADI programs - performance based, meaning that when You have mastered all performance requirements You qualify to attend PADI Instructor Examination (It is Easy). After passing that You will be granted PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor Status (assuming You have got CPR & First Aid Instructor Credentials). Just remember: learning to teach is just like all other courses - You only learn basics. You will need practice in order to become a Good Instructor. After me, You will be well on Your way. And there is always possibility stay a week or two longer and practice doing courses under my or my staff supervision.

After You graduate You need to consider some continuing education programs - CPR and First Aid Instructor rating is required for PADI-Instructor, perhaps You want also make your Master Scuba Diver Trainer Preparation-program. It is sad to notice that so many Candidates come just to do their IDC and IE. They have not been even thinking about other Instructor programs I am offering. Take a benefit doing more at same time - that saves Your money and gives even more in preparing YOU to become an instructor who knows how to use own abilities.
